About This Product:
This is a high-quality wild seaweed absolute blended with rice bran oil to improve flow and ease of use. Seaweed absolute is naturally extremely viscous and concentrated, so dilution allows it to dispense more easily from bottles whilst maintaining its characteristic aroma. Dilution ratio: 1 part seaweed absolute to 3 parts rice bran oil.

The Plant:
Fucus vesiculosus, commonly known as bladderwrack, is a species of brown seaweed found along the coastlines of the North Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. Seaweed contains over 70 vitamins and minerals including iodine, zinc, sulphur, manganese, vitamin K, silicon and sodium. Discovered in 1811, it was the original source of iodine and was used to treat goitre and swelling of the thyroid gland. It is one of the most nutrient-dense plants on earth.
